The Eucharist is the sacrament of the Bridegroom and the Bride. It is the way that in which Jesus Christ the lover gives himself most intimately to his beloved, the Church, and fills her with his eternal life. In fact, all of creation is fashioned to reveal God’s glory.
Addressing married couples, Saint John Paul II invited them to live with “marriage nourished by the Eucharist and the Eucharist illumined by your sacrament of marriage; the future of the world depends upon it.” In this series of reflections, Christopher West will unfold the “great mystery” of the profound interconnection between these two sacraments, what it means for us to be members of the Body of Christ, and how the Eucharist is the supreme sacrament of the redemption of the body.
Situated in the midst of the National Eucharistic Revival, this will be an examination of Christ's extraordinary gift of His Body and Blood unlike any other.
Cost for the day-long seminar is $50, lunch is included.
