Summer Youth Ministry
The Diocese of Fargo is offering events throughout the summer for youth who are looking to grow more in their faith and get to know others throughout the diocese. All events are open to youth in the Diocese of Fargo who are going into grades 7-12 in the fall of 2023.
Events will be organized and led by the Cor Christi Missionary Team.
Tommy Hollcraft, Zoe Kraft, Drew Luhning, and Laura Funk will lead the youth through various events and activities aimed to help foster community and spiritual growth for the youth in the Diocese of Fargo.

June 14, 2023: Ultimate Frisbee/Schtick & XLT (Exalt)
4:00 pm: Ultimate Frisbee (practice football field behind Shanley High School)
At the conclusion of ultimate frisbee, youth can go shower or come to the Pastoral Center for games and activities until dinner
5:45 pm: Dinner at the Pastoral Center (5201 Bishops Blvd., Fargo, ND 58104)
6:30 pm: XLT

June 21, 2023: Marian Night and DQ
Join us for an evening rosary walk and DQ. We will be praying the Glorious Mysteries while we walk to DQ. Bring a rosary, good walking shoes, and money for DQ.
5:00 pm: Gather at the Pastoral Center

5:10 pm: Explain the rosary and begin walk
5:25 pm: Dairy Queen and Bible Study (bring money for your own snack)
6:30 pm: Wrap up our time at Dairy Queen and begin walk back to the Pastoral Center
6:50 pm: Closing prayer and recap upcoming Summer Youth Ministry Events
Parents, please be at the Pastoral Center by 6:55 to pick up your children
June 28, 2023: Service Project
Please Join us for an afternoon of work, food, and community at Farm in the Dell. Farm in the Dell is a local non-profit farm that employs individuals with disabilities. Their mission is to transform "disabilities into abilities." They do this by meaningful work and experincing life in a new way through the farm setting. To learn more about Farm in the Dell visit their website at: https://www.farminthedellrrv.org/about.
To attend this event, a Permission slip must be signed and brought with to the event.
The evening is as follows:- 3:00pm Meet at Farm in the Dell
- 3-5:00pm Farm Work
- 5-5:30pm Supper Provided at the farm
- 5:30-6pm Recreation (Please be ready to pick your child up by 6:15 at Farm in the Dell)

This event is open to all of next year's youth, 7th-11th grade.
We will have snacks availible, please eat a meal prior to arriving

8:00pm: Social and departureJuly 26, 2023: Character Challenge Course and XLT (Exalt)
Please join us for a community building/high ropes course in Park Rapids, followed by an afternoon XLT at St. Peter's Catholic Church. The first part of the trip will be spent at the Character Challenge Course, a Christian organization that specializes in community-building activities along with fun on various high ropes challenges. Once we are done there, we will stop at Heartland Park for a quick lunch and then head to St. Peters in Park Rapids for XLT (exalt). At the conclusion of XLT, we will load the bus and return back to the Pastoral Center in Fargo.
7:00 am: Load bus at Diocese of Fargo Pastoral Center. Depart by 7:
9:00 am: Arrive at Character Challenge Course in Park Rapids, MN (13218 County 40, Park Rapids, MN 56470)
12:30 pm: Lunch
1:45 pm: XLT at St. Peter's
3:00 pm: Depart for Fargo
5:00 pm: Arrive back at Pastoral Center

To conclude our summer youth ministry please join us for a weekend in the cities for Valleyfair and mass at St. Paul's Cathedral
Saturday August 5th
9:00am: Load bus and leave Pastoral Center
12:00pm: Arrive in St. Cloud for break and lunch at Crossroads Center Mall food court
1:00pm: Leave St. Cloud
2:30pm: Arrive at Valleyfair (stay until close)
Sunday August 6th
9:00am: Hotel Checkout
10:00am: Mass at St. Paul's Cathedral
11:30am: Depart from St. Paul's Cathedral
1:00pm: Lunch in St. Cloud
4:30pm: Return back to Pastoral Center
