Seth Skjervheim first wanted to be a priest when he was really young, around three or four years old. There was something about what the priest was doing at Mass that made him want to do it someday too. This desire for the priestly life would come and go throughout elementary and high school. It wasn't until his junior year at the University of North Dakota when Seth attended a SEEK conference put on by the Fellowship of Catholic University Students (FOCUS) that he experienced a reawakening in his faith. This spiritual growth continued through the year following the conference, and with it the call to the priesthood returned. Seth applied to seminary for the Diocese of Fargo in the spring semester of his senior year and began his formation at St. Gregory the Great Seminary in Seward, NE. He completed college seminary and is now in his third year of formation at Mount St. Mary's Seminary in Emmitsburg, MD.
