Sisters of
the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Fargo
The Presentation Sisters are a religious congregation of women who are committed
to promoting peace and justice in the world. Their
ministries include pastoral care, health care,
social services, faith formation, spiritual enrichment
and housing assistance on Indian Reservations and
throughout the Red River Valley, Iowa, Mississippi, Missouri, Ohio, Tennessee and
South America.

The Sisters are the North American
Province of the
Franciscan Sisters of Dillingen in Bavaria, Germany - an
international congregation that has existed since 1241. The Sisters serve in seminaries, elementary schools,
hospitals and homes for the ill and aged; in Pro-Life activities; in religious
education on the parish level; in the making of vestments; in social works with
the poor; and in the promotion of church vocations.
Sisters of Mary of the
Presentation, Valley City, ND
The Sisters of Mary of the
Presentation are women who serve in a variety of ministries including education,
healthcare, spirituality, hospitality, and prayer. Maryvale, their Provincial
House, is in Valley City, where 31 of their Sisters reside. It is also their
Hospitality Center, Spirituality Center and Retirement Home for the Sisters.
They own four hospitals, three of which are in North Dakota:
Bottineau, Harvey, and Rolla. Their other hospital is in Spring Valley,
Illinois. They also own six nursing homes in North Dakota: in Rolette,
Jamestown, Valley City, Enderlin, and two in Fargo.
Sisters of the Society of
our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity (SOLT), Dunseith and Belcourt, ND
The Sisters are in Dunseith serving the St. Louis Parish, as well as serving
St. Ann's School on the Turtle Mountain Indian Reservation in Belcourt.
The SOLT Priests (The Society of
Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity) have been in Belcourt since '97, and the
Sisters came in 2001. The Society of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity was
founded in 1958 by Father James Flanagan. They are an international community
composed of priests, deacons, brothers, sisters, and laity (married and single)
working together on Family Ecclesial teams. They serve in areas of deepest
apostolic need, witnessing to the life of the Triune God by the complementarity
of vocations, and striving to bring all peoples to union with the Most Holy
Trinity.
