The two-year, part-time, distance
learning course is for anyone interested in developing his or her own
faith for the sake of explaining it to others. The course provides a
solid foundation in the key areas of Catholic faith which a person needs
to understand in order to be able to pass it on. This might be as a
catechist in a parish group, but the course is also for those who simply
want to be able to give an account of their faith to others. Those who
successfully complete the course are eligible for The Certificate in
Catechesis, which is validated by Maryvale Institute and approved by the
Congregation for the Clergy, Rome.
