Operation Andrew Dinner

Feb. 17 (Sunday): Bishop Aquila hosts "Operation Andrew" dinners each year in various parts of the Diocese of Fargo and invites those men discerning a call to the priesthood to come. The evening begins before dinner with personal introductions. There is always a good meal, and following dinner Bishop Aquila invites some of the priests to witness about their own vocation and how they heard God’s call. The Bishop himself will speak to all present on the priesthood and his own vocational call. A short prayer time will conclude the evening around 8:30 pm.

These dinners bring young men together with the Bishop to know they are not alone in this journey and to encourage one another, that through conversation and sharing of vocation stories and prayer they may deepen their own discernment of Christ's calling. The attendees are to come with a "host priest," so please contact your pastor (if he hasn’t already contacted you!) and request to come with him.
