September 28: Walk with Christ for Life, St. Mary’s Cathedral, Fargo

Bishop Samuel Aquila invites all the faithful to join him in this year’s Eucharistic procession to the state’s only abortion facility. The annual Walk with Christ for Life will take place on Sunday, September 28 beginning with Noon Mass at the Cathedral of St. Mary, 604 Broadway, Fargo. A Eucharistic procession to the abortion facility will follow immediately after Mass and conclude with Benediction at the Cathedral. All are encouraged to take part in this day of prayer for the unborn and an end to abortion in our city and state. This is a day for the whole family to celebrate life and the gift of the Eucharist!  For more information contact Rachelle, 701-356-7910.

This is a peaceful and prayerful public witness of our commitment to the sanctity of human life. For an explanation of the Walk, click here.

Announce and Promote this day of prayer. Bring as many parishioners as possible with you – all are welcome to join us!

Parish secretaries will receive bulletin announcements and a colored poster to display this August. Please display the poster in a prominent place and publish the flyer in your parish bulletin.  To download a beautiful 8 1/2" x 11" flyer, click here.

Represent your parish with a parish flag or banner for the Eucharistic procession. Appoint someone in your parish to be in charge of this. Also, ask local groups, e.g. Knights of Columbus, Catholic Daughters, Blue Army, etc., to be represented with a banner. Note: NO POLITICAL SIGNS OF ANY SORT WILL BE ALLOWED, this is a prayerful and peaceful witness of our faith.

Arrange a Prayer for Life in your parish, so that those who are unable to join us physically may do so in spirit. It is suggested that the faithful pray the Rosary or Chaplet of Divine Mercy preferably in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament from 1-2 p.m. (the same time we will be praying in the streets of Fargo).

For additional information, please contact Rachelle Sauvageau at 701-356-7910.
