April 27:
St. Francis Xavier Annual Spring Supper and Bake Sale, Anamoose
St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 605 First St. W., Anamoose, will be
hosting their annual Spring Supper and Bake Sale at the Anamoose VFW Hall.
Serving will be from 4:30 p.m. until 7 p.m. The menu will be roast beef,
mashed potatoes and gravy, mixed vegetables, coleslaw, relishes, fresh baked
dinner rolls and dessert.
The cost is: adults $7.00; ages 6-12 $4.00; age 5 and under are free.
May 3-4: St.
Mary’s Cathedral Spring Celebration, Fargo
St. Mary’s Cathedral, 604 Broadway, Fargo, will host their third annual Spring
Celebration on May 3-4. Both days feature booths with quilts, crafts,
baked goods, jewelry, gift baskets and gift certificates to bid on. Saturday’s
meal features roast
beef and roast pork with all the trimmings. Saturday night features the return of the 3
Pod-RAYS and a live auction. Sunday will continue the festivities with the raffle drawing,
Bingo, cake walk and kid’s carnival with inflatable games; dinner will be Buffalo BBQs,
homemade egg rolls and wontons, plus an assortment of homemade salads and
dessert.
May 9-11: Fifth Annual Dinner Theater
"Over the River and Through the Woods", Holy Spirit Church, Fargo.
Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1420 7th Street N, Fargo will host their fifth
annual dinner theater, "Over the River and Through the Woods". Performances are
Friday, May 9 at 7 p.m.; Saturday, May 10 at 7 p.m.; and Sunday, May 11 at 5
p.m. Tickets are $25 per person or $200 for a table of eight. All proceeds
benefit the Youth of Holy Spirit traveling to Italy in June.

May 11: Mother's Day Dinner, St. Martin Catholic Church, Geneseo
St. Martin's, 413 Main St., Geneseo, will be hosting a Mother's Day Dinner
on Sunday, May 11th. They will be serving Turkey, Ham and all the trimmings from
11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Church.
May 31: 103rd
annual Corpus Christie Celebration, St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Dazey
St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 1606 115th Ave N.E., Dazey, will host
the 103rd annual Corpus Christie Celebration beginning with Mass at
10 a.m. Mass will be followed by the procession, a dinner, children’s games,
baseball and concessions.
June 2:
Denis Grady Concert, St. Mary's Church, Grand Forks
St. Mary’s Church, 216 Belmont Rd., Grand Forks, will present a concert by
Denis Grady on Monday, June 2 at 7 p.m. Grady sings a hybrid of
Country/Gospel/Pop/Folk music. He is a regular performer on the concert circuit
in Canada, the United States and Europe (Holland, Italy, Ireland and Germany.)
Grady is just as often found playing in prisons, soup kitchens, nursing homes
and Alzheimer's wards, as he is in churches and other typical venues. This is a
free-will offering event, everyone welcome.
