Teams of Our Lady is an international movement of married couples whose purposes in the Movement and in Team Life are:
Each team is made up of five to seven couples and a spiritual counselor, who meet once a month in each other's homes to share a meal, a time of Scripture, prayer and reflection, and a sharing of their experiences as they work to grow in their marriages and in their faith. Getting Started in Teams of Our Lady How does a Team get started? Interested couples often hear about teams through those already involved, or from parish bulletin announcements and other media used to publicize the movement. The local Teams movement conducts regular informational meetings to provide detailed information, answer questions and place interested couples in a Team. Worldwide Marriage Encounter offers a weekend experience designed to give married couples the opportunity to learn a technique of loving communication that they can use for the rest of their lives. It's a chance to look deeply into their relationship with each other and with God. It's time to share their feelings, hopes and dreams with each other. The emphasis of the weekend is on the communication between husbands and wives; it provides a conducive environment for couple to spend time together, away from distractions and tensions of everyday life, while encouraging them to focus on each other and their relationship. It's not a retreat, marriage clinic, group sensitivity or a substitute for counseling. It's a unique approach aimed at revitalizing marriage. What you may know but is so important:
